Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Swipxl mobile application (the "App") provided by Swipxl ("Swipxl", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the right to manage the photos on your device.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. These Terms also operate alongside the terms of service of the app store from which you downloaded the App (for example, the Google Play Terms of Service or the Apple Media Services Terms).

3. The Service

Swipxl helps you review, organize, and delete photos in your device's library using an on-device, swipe-based interface. All photo analysis runs locally on your device; we do not upload, collect, or store your photos. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Deleting Photos — Important

• Always review your selections before confirming a deletion.
• We strongly recommend keeping an independent backup of important photos (e.g., a cloud photo service) before using the App.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss of photos, data, or other content resulting from your use of the App.

5. Purchases & Subscriptions

The App is free to download and offers an optional upgrade ("Swipxl Pro") that unlocks additional cleanup categories and unlimited swiping. Pro is available as:

• Monthly — auto-renewing subscription
• Yearly — auto-renewing subscription
• Lifetime — a one-time, non-recurring purchase

Indicative prices are $1.99 (monthly), $9.99 (yearly), and $19.99 (lifetime). Actual prices are shown in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region, currency, taxes, and promotions.

• Billing. All purchases are processed by your app store (Google Play or the Apple App Store). Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
• Manage or cancel. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your app store's subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
• Refunds. Purchases are handled by your app store and are subject to that store's refund policy. We do not separately process payments and generally cannot issue refunds directly.
• Entitlement management. We use RevenueCat to verify and restore your Pro entitlement across reinstalls. No payment-card details are shared with us.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose or to manage content you do not have the right to access; (b) copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by law; (c) circumvent purchase, licensing, or security mechanisms; or (d) interfere with or disrupt the App or its providers' services.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, branding, and the "Swipxl" name and logo, is owned by Swipxl and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. Your photos remain yours — we claim no ownership over your content.

8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including app-store billing (Google Play / Apple App Store), Google Firebase, and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its detection categories will identify every photo accurately.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SWIPXL AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PHOTOS, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (b) USD $20. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or its features if you violate these Terms or as required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 7, 9, 10, and 12) will survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction — e.g., the State of California, USA], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the App or on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
